my fan switch had already been wired direct to an ignition hot wire, i think because the temp switch went bad. they kinna butchered some of the wiring in the process so im not gonna try an put it all back to original, but i put a switch in so i could turn the fan off when im in deep water.

not to beat a dead subject but the reverse mod is a simple thing. just shorten the cable and it will go to reverse ondemand.

Yeah, there is no need to cut anything, unhook anything, use any screws or zip ties. All you have to do is adjust the cable to make the cable shorter which will pull the lever up and hold it there. Takes about 30 seconds. This is the first thing that I do to any 4-wheeler I buy. You don't have to push the red button or pull the lever or anything. Just shift into reverse. I've been doing this for years.

awesome thread, now i got 3 ideas to do with my bike, remove the ball for a shackle, (tired of wrapping winch cable around the ball), reverse lever mod, and fan switch,, thanks guys lol

rear hand brakes never worked...so ive now just got foot brakes work like a charm with the front discs

I just took a scrap of carbon arrow about 1" long, cut a slit along it. Then pull the brake lever slide the piece of arrow over the cable. Now you don't have to push the red button anymore. Takes a minute, and is as permanent as you want it to be.

got it. The brake lever returns but the reverse lever stays in place, correct?
