Runva Winches
Before everyone says to get a warn, out of the question. Cost is a factor, and I'd like to give an underdog a shot. I can't find any negative feedback online, so if you would direct me to some, I would be all ears.
Runva Winch Canada (Winch Wholesale Dealer) My question is this: should I go with the Super Deluxe kit with cable or get the synthetic expert pack? Is upgrading to synthetic a worth the tradeoff for the accessores that come with the super deluxe kit? These can be had on ebay cheaper than the prices listed on the website as well. They seem way better than the champion winches at a similar price point. If I'm talked out of this I will probably go with a Viper, but I have read the odd negative comment about them (I guess customer service is great though). Plus these are $50 cheaper than a viper...

I bought this one a few months ago. Super winch has a good name and has been around for a long time. So far I couldnt be happier. I think It comes with a 2 year warranty

I bought my Viper 3500 off E-bay with a steel cable and everthing needed to mount it for 139 bux shipped! And thats pretty darn cheap!

tbell.. I bought the 3500lb synthetic deluxe ....and so far so good. I've dunked it a few times and it seems to be fine still. I've had it since october. Made a few pulls with it and it has the power. The biggest pull was my bike and trailer plus another bike and trailer with a 1000lb moose in it, on a hill. I don't have much experience with winches but like I said so far so good. The hook up was pretty simple. The only trouble I've had with it was the nuts on the solenoid not staying tight, but a little loctite cured that in a hurry. mounted the solenoid that is a little large in the rear storage box. I say two thumbs up

North Shore Off Road has Smittybilt 3000's on for 189 they're in Canada plus cheap shipping Canada post. Look them up.

Do you guys have remotes, and use them very often? I'm leaning towards the XP version with sythetic. Doesn't come with snatchblock or remote, or a couple other minor accessories, but everyone seems to think that synthetic is way better than cable...

I have not had any trouble out of my superwinch 3000lb.It has a fast pull too comparted to some of the cheaper winches.I have been 100% satisfied with mine.It was too expensive neither,about 150 maybe??I got it for Christmas.
