Question, are you anchoring your bike in this situation? My winches will drag the Foreman across the ground before the winches ever bog down.

Yes absolutely! The last time I was felling trees I had the rear hooked around a tree .... I had so much stress on it the quad lifted perfectly straight off the ground and I could walk on the 10k lb strap I used to anchor the rear with..... You figure, I maxed my winch out (3000lb) using a snatch block so there was approx. 6000lbs there...... If something would have snapped I would have had a very bad day!
