MATERIAL: Polyethylene

Honda CARGO BOX (REAR) from Steadman Recreation Inc

I like the way it fits clean and all. It does look pretty big which would be good for a variety of items.

How is the OE quality as compared to boxes $100 less? Thanks for any input... TJR

tjr, that looks like it'd be a nice.

i just called steadmans. they said they fit great. honda doesn't release stuff unless the fitment is near perfect. there about $249 which isn't a bad price. call and talk to larry or mike in parts. there dang good ppl

I went through the local dealer in NH, (No sales tax) and should have the cargo box by the weekend.. I let you know how it all fits. TJR

Christmas came way early..
Here's the Honda optional Cargo box and a sneak preview of the Honda Aluminum bash plate (it looks nice too)

The cargo box is better than I expected. It includes SST mounting brackets and hardware. the lid is gasketed and has a map pouch of sorts. I was also unaware of the inner box that came with it.. I really appreciated the premarked hole locations to simplify the install. I see it to be quite usable. TJR
