Viper or superwinch?
Im in the market for a new winch and i cant decide between the Viper Max
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices or the superwinch lt3000 Both are in my price range and have good reviews. the wire/synthetic rope thing is not really a big issue for me. So which one would you pick?

out of the two i would pick the viper over the superwinch (i owned a 2000lb superwinch and it was a piece of **** that if my foreman was in more then 5in of mud it wouldnt pull it out ! it would just stall )

Viper winch is definatly the better of the 2 but I think the 3000 won't fit in the foreman but the viper max 3500 will

I went with the Viper that came with everthing needed to mount it.
They sell a Viper 3000 that will fit the Foreman450 and I was just about to pull the trigger and buy it when Rich450 alerted me to the fact that the Viper3500 was the same price and bigger is better right? It was little more money than what you are looking at as I spent 139 bux shipped and it came with everthing you need to mount it and I even had extra brackets left over that I plan to use on a future project.

It seems I can't find a viper 3500 for 2011 foreman for any less than 219 if I can find a kfi winch for around the same price that will be the one to get.

Rich, ive seen the 2000lb superwinch and in comparison to the lt3000, the 3k looks a lot better made. I was leaning toward this one but now who knows

I bought a Viper Max 2500...the 3000 won't work on the foremans, they said it was due to electrical issues or something. I like mine, comes with everything and it's easy to install...their mount plate is cheaper than most too and good quality.

KFI 3K would be a good option, don't forget to check out the power drain, that is when less is more
