i built this a few months ago its made from 4 in pvc pipe and cost me like $13 to build yes im a cheep basterd . IT IS 100% water proof! i also took picture of the stuff i put in there minus t-paper and a hand gun

deuce go for it!
as you can see i have a 10ft strap,plug kit,a small air compreser,tools,owners manual,cell phone,smokes,a plastic bag,also (not shown)t-paper,zip ties and .22 hand gun. there is a lot more room in it
the only thing i wish i did was make it out of 6 in (my arms are too big to reach all the way in)LOL
the straps that hold it to the front rack (are also from home depo ) are just regular 4in pvc hangers.

Good idea, I think I will go with the 6" diameter. Can never have too much storage space!!

Cool idea, Rich. I didn't realize we also had the same Warn bumper. Tube looks good. Someone tried to make me one and charge $45.....told him keep it!

You the man rich. Good job there mate. I was thinking I could do two smaller ones on each side of the front rack similar to yours. Thanks for the idea. Ohh and youre not cheap.......your resourceful......and save money in the process.

if you do go with the 6in your gona havat put it on the rear rack(it will get in the way of the headlight on the podd)
plus you cant buy 6in at homedepot or lowes you need to go to a plumbing supply warehouse

You could put the female adaptor at both ends so you have access on both sides. I think I'll make one tomorrow.

i bet if all the guys that go deep had these front and rear thay wouldnt sink them (ill hafta tell sspeckerwood this)lmfao

If you go with the six inch pvc, will it block the headlight and not be in use anymore? also does the headlight clear the 4" pvc?
