Gun boots

I'm looking into gun boots, any recommendations? The Kolpin 6.0 looks pretty nice with its flip up lid..

I'm not certain, however, on how much space one takes up on a foreman 500.

If anyone has pics of their boot on their foreman I'd like to see them

the newest one I will be buying...it flips up where the old ones had to pull the end off.

Only think I heard is get the holder with metal...not plastic as they break.

I'm also looking at buying a gun boot.I've got my eye on the Kolpin 5.0.I like that one because the mounting bracket looks like it doesn't take up a lot of space on the rear rack.Does anyone own a Kolpin 5.0?

It looks like that mount takes up a lot of space on the rear rack,Not what I'm looking for,I have to have room for a rear cargo box.

I ended up buying the Kolpin Impact 6.0 /w the adjustable boot mount.

We'll see how it performs.

I have the Kolpin IV, with the Boottector Bracket. The case easily slides out of the bracket. The bracket mount plate will mount to a rack underneath a rack bag if needed. I bolted mine right to my homemade box.

Thanx! The case is right in line with the edge of the floor board, so it's protected and it's well out of the way.
