Default tire question-got tired of searching

If I put 26's on my IRS Rancher, am I going to have issues with my CV joints and stuff? Or should I just stick with the 25's? Also, I don't know if 26's will clear my winch in the front. 25's seem to have plenty of room.

if you get a 26" tire, pending the brand i would almost bet its the same height as your stock tires.

26" tires only require 1/2" more clearance than 25s.

Are you staying with the factory wheels? You should be fine for clearance but depending on the winch and wheels it might rub just a touch. Not enough to hurt anything most likely but enough to clean the dirt off, might miss it all together also.

My rim/tire combo was on a "display model" 2010 rancher, and they cleared just fine.

Ok, so should clear the winch. What about snapping my axles and stuff? They come stock with 24's, I put 25's, now I want to go to a 26. But I was just wondering how much stress a bigger tire will put on the bike. They wont be gnarly mud tires but a good aggressive all terrain type.
