Default Tire size in Kenda BearClaws

25x10.00-12 & 25x12.50-12 Are the sizes I'm think of getting. Swamp lites in the size of 26x10.00-12 & 26x12.00-12. I need floatition more than I need clearance.

All Kenda Bearclaws run short. 25's are more like 24.5" and 27's are more like 25.75". My wifes entire family swear by bearclaws. They last forever but run really really short.

25" vs 27" bearclaw. The 27's are more like 26-26.5ish not 25.75. There are OK, not really great at anything. Round and hold air though. OK for a stock replacement tire.

Swamplites seem to be ok tires. Terrible in sand, and sandy mud. I hear they wear kind of fast as well.

Nice. I was just going by what Kenda said. Biggest we've ever run them in is 26 and the differece in 25 and 26 is barely noticable.

and their website has been updated since the last time I checked it. They must have started making them more true to size.

Do you have any more pics of those 27's?

I was leaning more towards the BearClaws, because I had a set on my 250 Ozark and they worked and held up great for everything. I know they last for ever. I just want a little better flotation.

I dont know about flotation with the swamplites. PM sspeckerwood I think he did some of that style riding with swamplites. Good luck.

I have no more. Found the pic in my buddies photobucket, no idea where he got it from. Just remembered seeing it.

Your not thinking of the Kenda Executioners running short are you? I know those 27's ran way short. Kenda's website lists the 27" Bearclaws at 27" OD which is obviously BS. But the 27" Exe's are listed at 26.5" front and 26.39" rear. I also notice they have 28" Executioners for 14" rims listed ??????

nope. the bearclaws used to be notorious for running short and up until about 3 months ago, Kenda's website listed the 27's at 25.75" OD. Thats where I got the number from. Now they list all of them as running true to size.
