In 2009 honda canada pulled all the high-performance quads out of canada(lack of sales).TRX700xx went for $6999CDN($3500 cheaper than list).Had to settle for a raptor700 instead of the 700xx but im happy with the raptor(but that 700xx was a unique quad,just too unique for sport quad buyers).

I had a raptor a few years ago, wasnt my cup of tea....just too top heavy. The only reason I bought it was to take when goin fishing....some places you just cant fit a car. When I would just go riding on it I loved it. Power out the %#%#! I mainly just did hill clibs with it, and h3ll I only owned it for about 3 monthes then sold it to buy my rubi.
The 700xx on the other hand I hate! its SOOO rear end heavy and cornering is rediculous with the independant suspension. I didnt know i I was going to flip or what. My buddy bought one a few years ago brand new and sold it a few monthes later because of those reasons...... Besides if you ever break a chain you have to rip apart the whole back end. They were fast and powerful but I think Honda "tried" a little to hard to give the raptor some competition.

Seen on one ATV forum where a honda dealer was talking to honda reps at a dealer show about the 700xx.They told him the 700xx was a mistake and didn,t meet the sales numbers.These sports quads are a steep learning curve(gentle trottle)This coming from a person that rode ATVs since i was five..Glad i didn,t get into the 2 wheel variety.

Yea my buddies shop was selling them right above cost to get them to move. People didnt know what to think of them and still really dont. I guess they have their place but I dont know where?

I was born on 2 wheels this 4 wheel stuff is still strange to me....... Everybody that sees me on the rubi knows that I always hated quads but hey,..... I tell'm its a lazyboy on wheels.
Ive had more fun on this thing than any dirtbike ive owned thats for sure..... maybe thats because when I was 7 I wasnt taking beer on the trails
Ive also bought a recon for my wife but I ride it more than she does.
