their were a fair amount of German who moved to this area, most are scott's /Irish, but that might be the connection as everything I read is they are only found here in the US in this area, but if you ever get out to the east side their fairly easy to find..just Look for the Great Smokey Mountains State Park & hang a right into Cades Cove.

I "think" this is another Pic I took of Fontana dam just off of (The Dragon 316 curves in 11 miles) in the Smokey's Mtn's, which is the Highest Dam in TN



The dragon is best known for Bikers coming the world over to ride, which used to be fun, just way too many visitors not to ride safely on now a days.
