850 vs 500 LOL Video

My friend took his new Sportsman® Touring 850 EPS Super Graphite LE to cut the trail.
Notice the snow behind his tires as he backs down the trail. This canyon might see 1 hour of sunlight during the day. With the sub-freezing temps we've been having the snow is like tiny ball bearing and difficult to get through and the ground under it is ice.
Even following Doug’s tracks I was in low range WOT, working the steering and rocking from side to side and going maybe 1 mph at best. We ended up having to do that for about a mile all together to make it up to the top. Doug had to work his ATV pretty hard too.

It's tough snow to get through Glide. If it was wet you could get a little traction. Every muscle in my body aches this morning from working my ATV so hard.

Doug and I take turns doing dumb things.

This ones from yesterdays ride too. We had to turn around right there. It was too steep and slippery to even try to back down.
Doug and I voted and turned around here.

Stability is very high on my must have list for an ATV. The bottom of my ATV is absolutely beat to he!! from being dragged over
rocks but the top of my ATV is still OK.

This is one of those places where Honda with it's low center of gravity is King. Long live the King.

You remind me of someone that could post on the PBS channel for nature tours. You should really consider some type of journal or blog.
