Figured i check here before i post it on CL. 1985 full size chevy K5 blazer. 4x4 350ci./auto. trans. 150k. miles. Original 2 tone paint. Buckets and console. Removeable hardtop that according to the orig. owners son has never been removed. Father/son are the only owners, they were deer and black bear hunters. Truck has never been modified in any way. It runs and drives with a jumpstart, it's been sitting in their driveway for a year and a half. I towed it to my work this past sat. and it started right up with a jumpbox. Truck body is not beat up but it has the usual rust issues. Has nice BFG all terrain tires on rally wheels. I have a clear MD. title for it. I just figured it would be a nice 4x4 project, or with some safety/maint. work a D.D. or huntin' truck or farm truck for someone. Can be tagged historic in MD. with no inspection/emmissions required. When i return to work i can take some pics. I have 1 pic on my phone i could text if anyone is interested. Truck is located in baltimore 21224 zip. Thanks.

No takers here, i'll post it on CL and see what happens there. I have a 250.00 offer for the wheels/tires. I could cut off the cat. and sell it to our core guy for around 50.00 and use my rollback to tow the rest of it to the scrapyard and get around 400.00 in scrap wieght. I would hate to do that because i know somebody out there could use a cheap running/driving 4x4.

Decent looking Blazer and a good price. Would hate to see it get hauled to the scrap yard. I got a 78 that is almost rusted in half that I use to move derby cars around my yard with. Hope you find a buyer.

I'm gonna list it online. Before i payed the seller i matched the last 8 digits of the truck's vin plate with the last 8 of the title and they matched, so he signed it over to me and i payed him. I just noticed sat. night that the title only has 16 digits, not 17 like it should. The mva forget to print the first digit on the title. For future purchases i'll match up the whole vin #, lesson learned. Now i gotta go to the mva to clear this up and get a new title issued.

SOLD!!! A guy from western Md. gave me 7 bills for it this morning. Even thou i told him about a seeping r/f brake line he still drove it the hour ride home. I told him to give me a call when he arrived home to let me know he made it ok, he called and said the truck drove nice and straight even at 70mph highway speeds. Good deal, he's happy and i'm happy.
