Here is one for an 05 250. It should work for diagnosing the ignition system and probably everything else on the machine. All I can come up with right now though..

I have a 96 bayou 220 that has given me firing issue in the past, it turned out to be a bad coil. Its mounted right on top the frame under the gas tank. This would be the easiest thing to replace and cheapest too BTW. You can get it out if you remove the front cowl plastic. Using an extension their is a narrow access to the 1 bolt holding it in place... its a little tricky, but I removed mine then took it to the local Kawasaki dealer. The guy had a Coil tester, mine crapped out as soon as it started firing. I would try that first IMO... The only 3 things it could really be is the Coil, the CDI Box, or the (Pickup) <-- or what ever that magnetic sensor is in the engine.
