Default Throttle Limiter

Okay does anyone know where I can find a universal throttle limiter similar to what comes on small atv's? My daughter is determined that she's going to move up to my old Lakota but I'm concerned it's just too much power for her right now. However if I can find a throttle limiter I can keep us both happy...

Thanks in Advance..

drill a set screw into the carb where the throttle mech goes into. almost like a reverse idle adjuster

You could do that at the throttle housing on the handlebars also if there is enough room. The old 70 and 90/110 3/4 wheelers had that. Another way is to make an intake gasket that blocks off some of the intake (between the carb and head), the trx 90 had a limiter like that.

She's 10 going on 20 and definately an exceptional rider however I want her to advance slowly. I've already felt the rath of mom when I let her continue ride with a cast on her wrist a couple of years ago. Of course I was dumb enough to make the statement hey at least I didn't let her hit the jumps... Yeah definately a dumb statement. Regardless I'm trying to make us both happy and keep mom off both of our cases.

Ok I'm retarded I just went to change the oil and tune up the Lakota and it already has a set screw to adjust throttle travel. So now I can make her happy and let her step up to the Lakota.

Thanks for the input guys.
