Chris B,
There is no problem mixing AMSOIL with the Polaris oil as far as causing a problem. AMSOIL is formulated to be compatable with both synthetic and conventional motor oils. However mixing does reduce the wear prevention and film strength properties of the AMSOIL. For the best results for your machine i would drain it when you get a chance and refill with the AMSOIL. It really is a great product and is used by many of the top racing teams in their two stroke engines. |

color of oil is just a dye(ie- royal purple, which is 96% snake oil btw) it burns out and just goes back to being same ole pretty brownish just depends, gearheads commonly mix oils to gain the benifits of each seperate oil. just need to do some studying Quote:
a **** fine oil that will work in our quads besides honda and amsoil is rotella 15w40 for diesels. it is a synthetic and has great add packs and is wet clutch compatible. also deals nice with the added stress and heat
