Default Arctic Cat 400 Clutch Problems

I have 2 arctic cat 400s 07 and 08 both foot shift. I believe the secondary clutch keeps going out on both engines. even the adjustment screws are out on both engines but not to sure. Is it because they are to heavy and not enough power? I ride on loose gravel and deep mud sometimes. I can post pictures of the clutch if needed. it starts well but when you hit the throttle you have to rev it high just to get it to go. I took off the clutch cover on one engine and the primary clutch looks ok but the secondary clutch the one on the right side closest to the front of the engine is all black and burnt looking. Is there any Aftermarket parts for this to keep this from happening. And also I was thinking of switching it to a Suzuki Eiger 400 engine to see if it will make any difference or if its just a waste of time? any help would be Greatly appreciated. thanks

What type of oil are you using? If it's a centrifugal clutch like on a Honda the wrong oil can glaze the clutch weights and allow them to slip.

I live in a small village that only has one store. And whatever oil they have thats what I use they mostly get penzoil Castrol and sometimes Honda oil. I'm not to sure if it is a Centrifugal Clutch but here are the picturesIMG_0180.jpgIMG_0176.jpg

I would take it apart and inspect the clutch weights and drum. Most likely the drum can be cleaned up to work and possibly just replace the clutch weights. How are you adjusting the clutch? The set up looks about like Honda's so I'm going to guess there is a screw with a lock nut on the side cover.

There are 2 locknuts and 2 adjusting screws. not like a honda with one locknut and one adjusting screw. and it is really hard for me to adjust it even though i fallow the manual. now the one of the locknuts just keep turning along with the screw so i think i might need the whole side cover i dont know. I dont know how it got like that.
