I just bought my son a New white 2009 Honda TRX90X. I won't be giving it to him till warm weather next year but I was wondering what the top speed should be on this machine so when I get a chance I will ride it to get a idea what the machine can do so I know. Do these machines have any factory restictors to be removed when needed? THANKS!!!

my sons will do around 30mph ...the dealer removed the plate for me so I could back the throttle screw so it would go faster.

It should have a simple screw with a jam nut on the throttle housing that can either be turned in to restrict throttle or out to open it. They might have gone more complicated since the ATCs I grew up on though. I'm gonna WAG 33 mph on the top speed. BTW, trx90s look-ride-handle-power 16x6.5x8 holeshots very well.
