Its that way on their cars. Not for a winch but for other accessories.... example, AC and foglights.

I'll give Polaris the thumbs up on things like that. They seem to think of the little things, brake lights, reverse lights etc.

I think Honda will step up to a V-Twin on the next lineup and offer factory winches etc. like Polaris does.

My 06 came with a factory installed Warn 2.5. The salesman said he had to charge me an extra $300 bucks, which I thought was an excellent deal.

And Polaris has factory heated grips. I dont know about the winch thing but they are making a v-twin.

i would love to see honda come out with a vtwin my buddy has a kawasaki brute force 750 it will run in the 80ts its got a tun of power but has alot of bad stuff on it to like there radiator and plastic skid plates.we went on a big trip a while back and he had to keep stopping every 10mins and letting it cool off because it had mud in there while the rest of us (with honda's) keep ridding we ended up moving it up on the front rack. he is all the time he is ripping off those plastic skids on somthin...

I remember when the rincon came out honda engineers claimed they would not make a twin for the purpose of reliability and longevity. They were worried about proper lubrication to both cylinders.

For 2011 the Polaris ATV accessory catalog has over 1100 items.

It's the very last ATV I would buy. Back in June I attended the very first Polaris 2011 introduction at a private hunting ranch in Montana. We got to see them before anybody, sales mgrs, dealers - anyone. Had to sign a waiver with Polaris not to talk about the 2011's or post a picture until July 27th at 12:00 AM because the dealer owner got to see them July 26th.

I rode every 2011 Polaris starting with their "value” SP 400 (what a cheap piece of junk) to their top of the line SP 850 EPS XP, both the 2-up and the regular one and every Ranger including their EL (electric) and their new 900 cc diesel Ranger and all 3 RZRs.

I wouldn't own one of them.

Honda can build anything they want, anything. Honda could own the ATV market if they chose to. Does anyone really think that the engineers at Polaris or Kawasaki or any of the other manufactures can hold a candle to the engineers at Honda?? Honda has more high-technology than all the other manufactures combined.

Have you ever seen ASIMO?? http://world.honda.com/ASIMO/

ASIMO is the only "robot" in the world that can recognize stairs and walk up them and back down and he has been around for a long time.

Honda developed a new aluminum alloy for the Rincon pushrods just to save a few ounces in weight, what did Polaris develope?? A heavier steel??

Honda builds what they want you to have, not what you want to have.

I think I'll have another drink.
