Default spark plug gap and a stuck winch

Well I finally picked up my brothers suzuki
It is an 2006 4x4 eiger with an 400 engine. It only has 297 miles on it. Can we say NEW !!! I want to change the oil and install a new plug so I know when it was done. Anyone know the gap on the plug???
Also the winch is stuck. It has no reverse and it is so tight that I cannot pull that little knob out so it will free wheel If I reverse the power leads will it run in reverse or burn something up, How else can I release it?

Hey laserdoc whats up with the name? Are you a plastic surgeon, or do you work on laser printers. Everytime I see your name it I wonder. Sorry to get off topic. Just curious.

The winch will run in the opposite direction if you reverse the power leads. Just make sure that nothing else has been wired to the same leads.

If you still can't free the cable by hand you could try attaching the cable to a secure mounting point and reversing the bike while operating the winch in reverse.
