Default Big red

Anyone have one of the Big Red SxS? I have checked them out a little but I was wandering if anyone had one and what do they think, pros and cons. I have a Prowler now and was thinking about the Big Red for when it's time to update.

I have a friend that has one and he really likes it. He bought a rhino last year and had all sorts of problems with it so he traded it in on a big red. He said it's not as quick as the rhino but a lot more reliable. It is also bigger than the rhino......to me it looks about the size of a regular cab tacoma.

I heard this past weekend that the Big Red is an adaquite machine, the reason you dont see many is that they are better sxs out there. The Big Red doesnt have that many after market products for it. But it is a Honda, its probably more reliable.

top speed on the big red is 42mph.... I know most people that buy them arent too concerned about the speed of they would have bought a rzr but Im a huge fan of the polaris ranger. They look alot better and have a top speed of either 52 or 56 i cant quite remember, they also have alot more power. But a honda is what it is, very reliable.

There is a Polaris dealer that is close to me, but I haven't had any luck with them. One of my friends got a new Ranger this year and the rear springs collapsed on it already. I have heard that they are better now but I don't want to take the chance on wasting 15k on a possible POS. The prowler I have now hasn't had any problems and will outrun my friends ranger, but the AC dealer sold out to new owners and sucks now. I use it more for utility than speed anyway but a RZR would be fun.

Yea it seems like when the rzr's came out the market for utvs went straight to them. I have about 5 buddies with rhinos and for the money I like'm. Sporty enough to play in, a dumping bed, and some power behind it. I know about 10 guys with rzr's and alot of my buddies dads and alot of other older guys have them as well. If you want fun thats the way to go if you ask me. I dont know anybody personally with a ranger but my buddy has sold quite a few. Mostly to guys with farms or junkyards. They have had suspension problems in the past (my buddy just broke a sring on his rzr this weekend actually) but its nothing a warranty wont cover. Its just like anything else.... its made for work but when it comes down to it everything has its breaking point and some parts will unexpectedly break. You'll have that on any machine though. If your seriously wanting a utv and have the time to hold off, I would. Honda is going to be releasing a newer version of their flopped big red that can compete with the sales of the rhino and the RZR.

Bump...

Its getting close to trading time. I have been to the dealers and I'm thinking the big red is going to be the next SxS. I dont need speed, more work. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them yet.

Yamaha...Not big enough

Teryx...Engine problems, dealer told me that one

Ranger...Problems in general, dealer told me that too

Mule, Bobcat, Cub Cadet...too **** slow

John Deere 850i...to $$$$$ after some needed upgrades

plus the big red is big and comfy, and has some awesome incentives right now.
