Default 2004 Arctic Cat 650 Auto

I have found one that a guy has got for a steal. I'm normally a Honda guy but for the price i think i may buy it. But my question is, Does any of you have this ATV? Whats your thoughts about it? I've never owned an Arctic Cat before, just honda and yamaha. If anyone has any input on the ATV, i sure would appreciate it.

From everything that I have seen and heard they are a strong bike but very poorly put together. I know a guy that has one, he turns 29's pretty easy but he doesn't play hard on it so it has stayed together pretty well, his son's on the other hand has been in the shop more than he has ridden it, and he does not ride any harder than I do

Well i don't really ride hard anymore. The guy has it for sale for $2500 and i didn't think that was too bad of a price, even if i didn't wanna keep i could probaly make a lil money on it. But with hunting season opening up this weekend i'll probaly use it for a lil while. How fast do they run?

They have the same v twin motor as the Brute fore 650 or the old Prarie 650. So it should have alot of power.

I would check the VIN, to see if its a "little warm". Just to protect yourself, because that is a REAL good price.

My 2 cents make sure it's not warm buy it use it for your hunting season and then sell it up here in canada they spent more time in the shop than on trails.just what i saw at the dealer, was getting my sled fixed and i was at the dealers 2 times 5 bikes came in only a couple of months old. Mechanic told me they are junk, they make alot of money off them.

Its not hot, my fiance's dad works with him and he said the only reason he is selling is because his daughter rides it all the time. Her grades have dropped in school b/c all she wants to do is ride. So this why he is selling.

Two of my friends have them. The headlights fell off one of em' first time out. BUT, these guys ride hard. They've been in the shop a LOT. They are just now a year old and one just got the motor rebuilt. I think the riding it for hunting season then selling idea is the best one.
