Default Finally closed on the cabin!

I've been working hard to buy this property off a couple for a while now and I finally signed the papers last month. Its on 4 acres with no neighbors and is only 10 mins from downtown Chattanooga. There is an option to buy the adjacent vacant 25 acres..... maybe one day. It blows my mind how affordable land is in Chattanooga. I lived in Colorado and New Mexico for years and wouldnt have been able to touch anything like this in the 505. Anyway Im pumped and just wanted to share.

Congradulations that place is awesome cool. I have done some hunting just northwest of Chattanooga Tn. and I simply fell in love with the land, the people and thier lifestyle. I've been a carolina country boy all my life, but if I had the opportunity I think I could call that place home in a heartbeat. Again, congradulations and hope you enjoy.

Yeah its got a good thing going. Lots of jobs, affordable housing, no traffic, LOTS of trails and hunting. On a down note - they closed Aetna Mtn again this weekend. This past Saturday was the "final" public ride for the WeRock / Aetna trails. We had planed on riding and showed up at WeRock at 10am and the ATV'er traffic was backed up a mile+ from the gate and they finally had to turn us around and close the gate. Lots of unhappy individuals.

Just retired from the Navy and trying to stay here but if I show Mamma those pics, I fairly sure she would have us packed before I could get resumes out that way.

I agree with rubi, I'd move into that cabin. You could make a lot of your own trails on that 25 acres. Congrats on a great looking place.

Come on over, the waters fine. But seriously its a great spot to be. In Red Bank (an enclave in North Chattanooga) you can buy a nice house in the $70's with crazy low property taxes and no income tax.

And this is 15mins from the cabin in Red Bank:
