I was looking at the S&W Governor the other day and talked to the guy at the gun shop about it, and the governor is a lot more expensive to shoot than the judge is. Something about the type of rounds it has to have. And i don't like the trigger on it. It feels "cheap". Kind of like pulling the trigger on a plastic gun. Has a heavy trigger, way too much trigger movement before it catches and fires.

I havent got to play with one yet, but there is one thing I do know. S&W does more research on their revolvers that any other company. Smith is know for their revolvers its just that kinda thing. Im sure thers is a reason for anything they do to their guns, and if its messed up there will be a fix for it soon. I was never really a fan of their firearms until there was a recall on a certain gun that my dad owned back in the 80's and they bought that gun from him and gave him his choice of any firearm they currently made.

Of course he went for the most expensive one, a smith model 41. He didnt want or need a .22 gun at the time but hes surley glad hes got it now. That gun 20+ years old, used, is still worth more that their new model 41's. Model 41's are todays standard that other mfr's model their target .22's after.

So if you dont like it now, they will "re-vamp" it im sure in due time.

only reasons why i would get the governor 1 they are located in my back yard so if its brakes i drop it off and have it back in about a week next reason is they dont sell the taurus judge its not mass compliant prob wont ever be

I wonder why they won't sell the Judge there, but they sell the Circuit Judge, and the Governor.

Not sure about that but I do know that taurus has outsourced alot of their production out of country...... notice they now make alot of guns that look like berettas, alot of other companies also jumped on that band wagon with taurus and are also making similar beratta type pistols. Beretta soldoff alot of their rights to pistols to make a lil more cash and thats what happened.

The judge as far as I know has no ties with the off shore mfr's but im sure its coming soon enough in an off brand.

Glock has also gone a similar path over the recent years.

the only judge i knew was at palmer district court and he retired ....it sucked walking into court and the judge knew me by my 1st name ....lol

yeah i dont understand it either mass laws a so vague and arnt clear and it keeps a lot of manufacturers away. like my licence is a class A large capacity license to carry but hand guns or riffles in this state cant be sold with anything more then 10 rounds you also cant buy hi cap mags but anything pre ban 1994 is okay. also anything pre 1994 like AR15's are okay as long as its always been in this state. confusing laws and everyone interprets them different so there's a lot of confusion
