nice video, my cousin used to drag race a GSXR back in the late 80s i was too young to ride it but i remember that thing screamed!, it used to say S.A.C.S. on the side of it but i cant remember what it stood for it had wheeleie bars on it and all that fancy stuff

I stopped at a drag strip here in Ontario once with my Gsxr to see what I could do. I was able to run 11.1 seconds @ 127mph. Not bad for basicly stock. Pros there laughed at my reaction times on the lights. Said they coulda ordered a burger and fries in that kinda time

Hey where you at?I'm a 1/2 hour north of Barrie.Back in the day Kawi claimed that their factory 750 Tripple 2-storke(74 hp) would do the 1/4 in 11 sec. flat.Never saw it myself,but a buddy had one and it was pretty quick.I had the 500 tripple. "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL".I'm down to riding a couch(Goldwing)these days.Cruising backroads and listening to the tunes.
With the stunt driving laws here in Ontario I'm surprised that anyone owns a crotch rocket anymore.If they see daylight under your front wheel you can be charged.

I hear ya there. I'm near London On, about 50kms east of. Ya I sold the GSXR to get a quad again due to our speeding laws. When the **** bike breaks every speed limit in the country in 1st gear, time to shut er down. I work at a Kawasaki dealer (part time). Rather it be a Honda dealer but i get real cheap parts.

BTW we ride in the Coldwater / Severn Falls area all the time. My buddies got a cottage on the severn river. I'll be in the woods up there Feb 25th weekend. You know that bridge that the train derailed on this past winter ? We ride across that sucker to get on his side of the rive. Hes water acess only. Its scary as h e l l.

I used to work back there on the railroad.I wouldn't want to get caught on the bridge.You wouldn't hear the train coming when the bike was running.
You go right by my house.I'm right on Upper Big Chute Rd just outside of town.I don't usually ride much in the winter as I was big into sleddin,but I sold both the sleds this fall so that could change.Gotta do something to get away from the old lady.I did have the bike out rippin a couple of Fridays ago though.Couldn't find anyone to play with.
