home use printer
need some suggestion for a home use printer which has a low running cost for since it will be used for printing e-books.. laserjet orwhat as long as it has a low printing cost. I really hate my old Dell printer,it drinks up its printer cartridges. many thanks

ink cartriges are the killer
see if there is any way to find out how many pages you can expect per catridge

i have a HP DESKJET 3050. its been a really good printer for me and the cartridges seem to last a long time.. i got it from walmart for like $54 bucks.

Im very pleased with the Brother HL-5370dw that I use at the office. We actually have four of these units in the office and have never had any problems. Its Wifi enabled, prints black only (no color), & uses an ink drum / toner cartridge. A toner cartridge lasts me around 20,000+ pages. Never have to worry about it..... unlike the Lexmark crap ive destroyed.

if i need to print anything i go to staples or kinkos .......i dont use a printer much ...lol

get something that uses toner cartridges instead of ink cartridges. toner you will get around 2,000 to 3,000 pages at 2 to 2.5 cents a page. ink cartridges you'll get about 400 to 500 pages and costs around 4 to 6 cents per page
