I agree that polaris is a good company and treats their employees very good with profit sharing and such. But if it mechanically is a NIGHTMARE are they wanting that kind of media? I guess my question is: Is your opinion one sided now, because you have been given a free ATV. Will you openly say what is wrong with there design? or is that hush hush for boardroom and diner conversations? And will you only key in on the positive designs. I truly have no opinion, but everyone talks that polaris are common to have stranding problems. Just wondering if your feedback is biased? Tell us rubi, can you call it a P.O.S. if you feel it is?

mcdougy - thanks for asking.

If I didn't voice my honest opinion Doug would have never asked me for it. Doug has long been known for the "call it as it is" kind of guy regardless of who’s listening- something I have always admired.

I have no problem telling you the bad right along with the good and I'll call it as I see it.

I don't get paid and I don't get to keep it, nobody is buying anybody or anything. The folks who supplied the ATV know I'm not their biggest fan.

I'm asked to give my honest opinion and to be able to substantiate it.

I will tell you up front that I really do appreciate the opportunity.

And to really answer your question - if its a POS? yes I will tell you.

Tell Doug ole'Glide said, Way to go, it's about time somebody put you to work!

Can't wait for your Reviews!

Thanks glide.

My problem is I like the throttle too much. I just about wiped out a brand new Brute Force with less than 300 miles on it for Doug. It made me wonder if Kawasaki would have given him another one.

I have a real hard time thinking any ATV out there can live up to the depenability that my Rubicon has provided for me, litterally flawless.

Well that is great, having honest opinions. I truly hope it is a awesome machine for ya. My only worry is that: with this comfy ride everyone speaks of, that you may fall asleep at the wheel "oldtimer". I know your used to having your teeth rattled every couple tire rotations.

At my age a smooth ride will be nice for a change.

It's bigger, heavier and has a belt - that's 3 strikes right there plus only one brake lever!! One brake lever!! What are the thinking??

A big, shiny, 2012 Sportsman XP 850 "EPS Orange LE" showed up at the ATV park I was riding this past weekend. Everybody in the parking lot stopped to stare at this sucker as it pulled in on a trailer. My group took off for a lap around one of the big trails of the park, got back to the trucks about 45 min later. I couldn't believe it...there it was, this 850 covered in mud, being pushed back onto the trailer by a few guys. As expected, the owner was pleased. He muttered that it just stopped running, and that was it, had to be towed back in. $10,500 MSRP, 2 weeks old. D a m n.
