yea just use male/Female connectors, plus you have the Female connector that slides on to the speaker...so it's real easy to get them apart!

lol rich not sure how long a tape deck would last. . . . i really would like to build one of these things but i would like to get a roto pax for the front rack to add an extra 4 gals of gas if i did that it wouldn't leave any room for the pvc it would block my whole pod light. my next idea would be to build one that went around the back rack maybe integrating it into a back rest and just having a mount for the mp3 player on the bars??

i rode with that guy with the polaris last weekend and he had them hanging off the back and thay wernt small

yes i know he has 2 of them there both 4 gallons total of 8. i dont like them hanging off the back like that just doesn't seem like a good idea with 2 bolts with plastic knobs holding them down jmo

Scott, have you seen the one I made and am using now? .... Speakers are in 4" end cap's & the amp is in a Dry box....the dry box I have placed in the center of the front rack, but it could be placed anywhere in a rear bag in the rear trunk.....etc, leaving room for other things.

just something that might help you come up with your own idea! personally I could use some fresh ideas, mine are getting stale & I just like building things!
