Im in. I think with summer vacations coming up that are already planned, maybe an early September ride? Too much later you might be getting into deer season for some folks.

That's weird!... I was thinking September also, just didn't want to put anything out their, trying to stay Neutral "kinda", but we will still need to pick a weekend.

I guess the next thing is for me to check with the camp ground and see what we would need to do to secure sites/cabins & get some prices, if I am not mistaken they offer group rates.

Ill check with them and see how many it takes to get a discount!

here is their web page address http://www.rideroyalblue.com

Edit: the reason I am choosing this place is its attached to public lands as where the others are on private land and charge a fee on top of the TWRA fee....Ill get a price for that also

I would say we are a bit closer to you than, hatfield and mccoy, Ride Royal Blue is just off Hwy 75, about 23 miles inside the state line.

or if one was coming North from the lower states I'm about 30 miles due North of Knoxville TN & Royal Blue is only 5 miles or so up the road!

what does it cost to ride up their on the hatfield and mccoy trails?

NOTE: still need check on Camp Ground & motel prices, Been having Car & Truck problems!

You need only one permit per vehicle and as long as permit holder is on or in the ATV, SXS or Automobile you are covered and it doesn't matter if he or she is operating said vehicle,
So if you break it down its really not "that" much concerning the Vast riding area available!

North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area Permits (WMA) includes Royal Blue WMA-Sundquist WMA-And New River WMA . Please Read Carefully If You have Questions about Permits Call TWRA (615-781-6500).. this is a Extremely Large area

Resident Annual Permit (Type 035) ______________ $61.00
Resident Daily Permit (Type 036) ________________ $12.50
Non-resident Annual Permit (Type 037) ___________ $191.00
Non-resident Daily Permit (Type 038) _____________ $30.50

Tennessee Residents
Alternative And Cheaper Way Of Getting Correct Permit
You Can Purchase A Hunting and Fishing Combination* (Type 001) $28.00 Plus A WMA Small Game only (Type 093) $17.00
Or A Special Season/WMA Nonquota Big Game (Type 094) $21.00
Either One Will Work Just Depends If You Hunt Or Not And You Don't Have To Hunt To Use Either ...
001 $28. + 093 $17. = $45. Best Deal Or 001 $28. + 094 $21. = $49. 2nd Best Deal...

002 Junior Hunt/Trap/Fish
Ages 13-15. Good for hunting all game, fishing, and trapping. Must be purchased prior to 16th birthday. No supplemental licenses are required, but special season and WMA permits will need to be purchased in addition to this license. Fees apply when applying for quota hunt permits and "leftover" permits. $8.00 Plus A WMA Small Game only (Type 093) $17.00 = $25.00

166 Permanent Senior Citizen Hunt/Fish/Trap $11.00
Available at all license agents and can only be purchased when the 65th birthday is reached. A valid Tennessee driver's license or proof of age and residency is required. No supplemental licenses are required, but special season and
*WMA permits will need to be purchased in addition to this license. Fees apply when applying for quota hunt permits and "leftover" permits. ( *You'll still have purchase a 093 WMA Small Game only each year. )

Children 12 And Under Are Free.....

Non Resident Cheaper Yearly Permit
Hunt-Small Game/Waterfowl (Type 071) ____$91.00 Plus
