After spending $5 plus per qrt. for Honda's oil @ my stealership I looked for alternatives & found Valvoline ATV oil on sale @ Auto Zone for $2 qrt. - I have a case in the garage for future oil changes, but haven't changed to it yet. I would expect no problems and have confidence in Valvoline products.

**** ya,
I been running it for years. Thats is all I run in my 06 Foreman and the wifes
06 Rancher. Ran it in my 300's before that.
I have to pay in the $3.75 to $4. Range for it though, it has wet clutch protection. I would buy a case at $2. in a heart beat.
IMHO... its great stuff.

Yea, and I would think Valvoline has a little more experience making oil than Honda does. Good post, I didn't know Valvoline made this oil. No more $6 a quart stuff for me.

Just put this oil in my Ruby and can tell a big difference! Also put NAPA oil filter to.

I hate to be the Black sheep on this, But with all the post on here about the touchy Rubicon transmissions and their problems Im only gonna use genuine Honda oil and filter when I change my oil.
Sure its probably just Valvoline in a Honda bottle, But I dont want to be scratching my head wondering what I did wrong when my tranny goes out! lol
