I used just regular valvoline motor oil once...it made everything I put it into smoke like crazy. But the atv stuff could be better

I used mobile one in my old 300 fourtrax. And now I use Honda oil in my ruby. I haven't had a problem. Now my brothers 2004 ruby uses the mobile 1 oil and he is having clutch plate problems. You get what you pay for!

Ran into this today. Sold out of ATV, ton of motorcycle 10W40 on the shelf. I called Valvoline and asked what the difference is between the ATV oil and the motorcycle oil and the tech said "they are the exact same product, just different packaging."

Both have same ratings on the back (MA and exceed SG/SJ/etc) so that makes sense. Going to go back and load up tomorrow.

Bought a case yesterday. When I asked if they had any more in back they said no but we can order it and it'll be in tomorrow. I'm scratching around trying to find enough money to really load up on this deal. An extra $2 per quart on every oil change is pure gravy.
