this is a random question but does anyone know if a truck has to have a muffler in ohio? it will still have the catalectic (spell) converter though. mine is rusting pretty bad on my truck and if it is alloud to not have a muffler i am just going to cut it off.

a muffler is required.the exhaust must also exit to the side of the body.
