ok now my tranny is going in my truck. looks like i dont have much luck first the rubicon now the truck. When ever i click it to over drive it slips into neutral and it is fine when i take it out of neutral. I am briniging it into my mech tomorrow hopefully it is nothing to serious cause if it is then its time to go big or go home.

i think its safe to say that its not the machine but the driver
odd....my Allison tranny is fine, all you Ford people have is tranny problems it seems ( you knew this was gonna turn into be another Ford vs Chevy debate )

the overdrive when out on my dads ranger and all it was, was a electrical plug so hopefully thats what yours is. by the way i dont really know how much the plug was but i dont think it was too much.

i dunno...the last guy i worked for ruined 2 allison trannies from ballooning the torque converters.....gee i dunno how that happens....
