anyone have a lifted f250/350? - Honda Foreman Forums : Rubicon, Rincon, Rancher and Recon Forum

my dad is looking for eather a f250 or 350 (it doesent really mater as long the price is right) he cant deside on what size of lift and tires to put on it. he is leaning towards 35's or 37's but he dont really know what size lift would go good with it, he dosent want a huge truck but he wants it to look good. also he said he dont want a body lift just suspention. he told me to post a topic on here to see what you all thought, pictures would also be good.

my daddy has a ford f-350 with a 4.5" suspension lift and he is running 37" dick cepek tires. but every now and then when he turns REAL sharp they will scrub. but that can be taken care of with a lil trimming . ill try to get some pictures up later.

I would get a F-350 since you are in ohio. You'll have commercial trucks plates with a one ton and you won't have to worry about all the lift requlations with a commercial vehicle.

i showed him all of them trucks last night and he said they had a little too much lift. i forgot to mention that this is going to be a every day work truck so he cant go too extreme. Also GRIZZ, what size tires and lift does the third truck you showed me have? REDNECK, he said he would like to see yours, because around a 5" lift is what he thinks he wants. big_daddy, not really i was wanting pictures of newer trucks but thanks anyway. Also beisel what are the lift laws in ohio? he was not wanting a huge truck but maby one with about a 5" lift and 35's will be too big? thanks alot guys, you are helping alot.

Bumper Height
Vehicle GVWR Front: Rear:
4500 lbs and under 24" 26"
4,501 to 7,500 27" 29"
7,501 to 10,000 28" 31"

No more than 4" of body lift on any vehicle.

An F-350 is over 10K GVWR so you could run 46" tires if you wanted.

I have a 6" Suspension lift and 35" tires and its about the right size to still be able to use it as a work truck. Any more than that and it'll be a pain to put anything in and out of the bed.

well i think he made is mide up, atleast for now. he said that he is getting a 4"suspension lift and 35" tires but the type of truck is still up in the air. REDNECK BOGGER, if it is possible he would like to see your dads truck since it has a 4.5" lift on it or if you can not get any pictures could you tell me how high the cab is?
