Default Towing 2 trailers????

How hard (or practical) do yall think it would be to tow 2 trailers? I built a trailer for my foreman from a boat trailer. The trailer will be a perfect fit for the 4weeler and a few coolers/gas cans. I am also building a trailer to pull behind the foreman in the woods. the trailer will have a 3x5 box and the over all length will be about 8ft or so. The problem is,,,, I cant get everything on the "big" trailer.
Can I weld a hitch on the back of the "big" trailer and pull the "small" trailer behind it? Would it pull OK? Here is a pic of the "big " trailer. This trailer (bed) is 66" wide and the smaller one (bed) will be 36" wide.

I would honestly say your propblem will not be with pulling it
it will be with stopping it, I wouldn'
t do it
I would suggest maybe looking into a way to stand the small trailer up on its end on the end of the big trailer maybe, as long as it doesn't add too much tongue weight to the main trailer
tandom towing, you need trailer brakes on the lst trailer for sure!, or at least to be safe you do!
and backing up will be a nightmare LOL

if your good at welding and making things
I would weld two ball's on a hinge on the back of the main trailer maybe and have the atv's winch used to some how to fold it up on the back of the trailer so it stands up on the trailer end on end of main trailer?
then you can lower it, and have it in a somewhat fast on/off deal! and be much safer than towing two trailers!
I would also, wonder what DOT would say to you for towing two? not even sure if its legal?

For a short distance and slow you probably wouldn't have any problems. Any speed and unless things are built perfect (and loaded perfect) the trailers will start "whipping" behind you. Unsafe for you and the others out on the road. With trailer brakes you can lightly apply the brakes to control the whipping action.

HMMM,,, never thought about stopping.. The furthest I would be going is 1hr away 60mph tops. what about sway arms? something like that keep it from whipping? I would just take it to the property once chain it up and leave it, but sure as **** it would get stolen.

the problem with tandom towing is, like TooDeep said
unless there perfecin line, once speeds pick up, and I mean above like 30 mph
they start the trailers ina wagiing movement like a dog wagging its tail, as speed increases so does the wagging
and that can cause loss of control and for things to get scray FAST
having trailer brakes on the last trailer can help stabalize this to a point, but it will never be safe, its why you don't see folks doing it on , on state roads and hi ways!
the liabilty if an accident happened might be beyond what your ins would cover?
and again, 't know if its even lega to do so!

I again say you better off making a way to fold the second trailer up on the first

if you can follow my idea
if you weld tabs on the small trailer like eye bolts tabs, and then weld two on the main trailer, that the small trailer fits between, and then just a fast pin can be slid in, that will attach the two trailers, and then you can just stand the small trailer up on its end like a hinge, say like rear gate then on the main trailer!
a pretty easy deal if you ask me, and save you a worry about towing two trailers!

Plus you would only have one trailer to make "road worthy". I would guess you would get about 40mph tops pulling both trailers anyway.

people do this all the time towing a camper and a boat, or camper and a trailer.

It's not legal in every state.

Also reading about trailers ohio has a law that says you can only pull 55 mph when towing a trailer. But they allow triple tow if it doesn't exceed 65'
