Default Chainsaw mount

Where did you buy yours and what works the best?
I'd like to get ideas.

I'm looking to mount up a Stihl MS290

Ok so far. I take it off when I am not gonna haul a saw. I rubbed oil on it to help preserve it.

I love the chainsaw scabbard I put on my hunting rig. Quality made and the ability to lock your saw in the mount with a padlock. It works great for my Bushwack machete as well, a half turn on the lock device and it's free. Tightened up its good and secure.

I know they have the actual mounts as well but seeing how I was making my own bed rack I didn't need one, I just spaced the upright rails accordingly.

Is this for trail riding or work? For the trail I like to mount a hard saw case to the rack to keep the mud and stuff off of the saw.

Can't remember for sure what it cost but a quick check on Timbersled Products, Inc. will get you there. I was also checking out the Jawsaw when I got this one.

I just toss my Husky hard case on the rack and use about 4-5 bungee cords to hold it down.
