I'm looking forward to getting a HMF exhaust soon. Just as soon as I can afford it. Glad to have an HMF rep. on board.

I looked at the dyno chart you provided and Im only seeing a .6 to .7 hp increase. thats less than 3%.... not 10-15. and that is with the lid left off? where does the 10-15% figure come from? I must be reading something wrong here....

I was wondering why the lid was left off too for the dyno runs. Seems like that would skew the dyno numbers to be better than they actually would be in a real world test where you can't really ride with the lid off. Especially if there was a big fan blowing on the machine.

you can also see that they have remapped the fuel system with the way it says "new map", i.e. a programmable tuner and the lid off. sounds a bit like some thrown numbers to me. hmf hasn't been back on to dispute the facts with us. that must tell you something. here's the chart

Yeah, I don't think we're making any new friends with HMF by calling them out. I really don't know what they expected by leaving the "open lid" and "new map" changes on the dyno sheet though. Anybody who has been around dynos enough knows how to fudge the numbers. I used to take the lid off of my '01 Camaro SS just to get 3 extra rwhp out of it on the dyno. Not realistic, but I wasn't trying to sell a product on those numbers either
