HMF has a new slip on muffler for the 2012 Honda Foreman 500. With an HMF aftermarket system added, you can expect a 10-15% horse power gain with a significantly lighter exhaust over stock.

I looked at the dyno chart you provided and Im only seeing a .6 to .7 hp increase. thats less than 3%.... not 10-15. and that is with the lid left off? where does the 10-15% figure come from? I must be reading something wrong here....

I was wondering why the lid was left off too for the dyno runs. Seems like that would skew the dyno numbers to be better than they actually would be in a real world test where you can't really ride with the lid off. Especially if there was a big fan blowing on the machine.

you can also see that they have remapped the fuel system with the way it says "new map", i.e. a programmable tuner and the lid off. sounds a bit like some thrown numbers to me. hmf hasn't been back on to dispute the facts with us. that must tell you something. here's the chart
