well this will be the first oil change since I have owned it thats what the books say run in it. Just seems mighty thin for as hot as it gets here in NC. I can see it up there where your from.

Just remember that 0W40, 5W40, 10W40 and 15W40 have the same viscosity at operating temperature. The first number deals with the low temperature pourability. They are all 40W oil when you engine is at operating temperature.

i use the 5-40 in the rubicon, vtx, simpilicity rider ,2 honda
metro scooters, and regular mower. 10-30 mobil 1 in cars and truck never had a problem.--irv
