Default Crosby, tx Anyone?

I heard that Outlaw ATV and Mels on Gulf Pump Rd. are getting shut down, does anyone have any information? Does anyone have a phone number or address for Mels (Melanies ATV)? Spring Creek Off road was closed down earlier this year for anyone who was planning on going out there.

about 3 weekends ago me and some buddies went down there and the poice were giving tickets to minors( like me!) for riding a four wheeler under age. ( i call B.S) i pay to ride my honda out there so i should be able to ride right? ) okay well back to the point. there is another atv park somewhere around there and they have got conections with the police and there now trying to say that "FIGURE 8" under the hwy 90 bridge 500 ft on each side of it is state property and the only way you can ride over there is 16 yrs+ have helmet and safey goggles and a ATV licence??? never heard of such. i know a cop in harris county and he said that that is bull and that the cops that came down there are acutlly reserve cops. ( only there when needed and that they only worrk 16 hrs a month to keep there badge.) my ticket is going to be like 450$ for no helmet and no saftey goggles. but i was talking to one of the owners out there and he said there not closing.

As far as I know Crosby is still open but heard not many people are interested in going there due to the crowd and the fact the place isn't kept up. I passed the Splendora spot on the way home today and it looks like it could be worth it. Also going to get the OHV tag and try riding some trails in Sam Houston Nat'l Forest on Monday.

are you talking about the trails right off 59 or the little motocross park off may rd? either way, they both kinda suck. how do you get a tag to ride in the nat'l forests? ...how much does it cost?

The trails right off 59 at the East River exit....Is it just too small or the conditions boring?

The OHV tag is $8 annually.....$5 entrance fee at the park per day or $80 annually. OHV tag sold at select motorcycle/ATV shops or calling the Austin hotline number.

Please report how Sam Houston is. I was just talking with a buddy about going to check it out in the next few weeks. We're planning on heading to AR for an extended weekend for camping and are going to use Sam Houston as a preparatory run.
