Well as some of you guys know from talking to me about it, I had a 00 Honda Prelude for sale. That is why my screen name for various things has been "H22ATE" for the last 6 years, prior to that it was "sexSIlude" for a Prelude that I still own but took off the road. Well It looks like Ill have to grow up again and find a new user name for things...... I finally sold my baby tonight.
I had a kid from the city call me late last night and seemed interested as all kids do when the see the pics of my Lude. He got my adress and said "ill be there tomorrow", I figured ya ok you'll never show. Well much to my surprise they drove an hour and a half and I got a phone call as the kid and his mother sat in my driveway. they looked it over and were in disbelief that for the year it was so clean, and for the price nobody has bought it. So I took him for a ride, got out and let him drive, and then I got back in as we arrived at my house so I could park it around back like I always do. I started backing down the driveway as the kid talked to his mother and she was waving her arms at me. I said whats wrong, I thought I was going to hit something. "no need to back it down the driveway, we're taking the car". I was in disbelief that for only seeing it for 15 minutes it was a done deal. That stinkin car meant the world to me as it was my first "nice" car that I built myself. I was soooo sad to see it go after 6 years of babying it I actually shed a tear, even the wife treated me different tonight because she could tell I was pretty upset. But for my sadness I mad some young kid one happy SOB, so that kinda made me feel a little better. I just thought Id share that little piece with you guys. Ohh and to top things off, a guy came and bought my minibike that I built today! So **** I lost 2 important things to me but I needed to get rid of them so I can pay for the wedding in July. MAN, it sucks getting old and mature, I want to be a kid again!!! Incase you would like to check out my lude and bike that I sold there are pics in my "toys" photo album...... Bye Bye hondas

dont worry man, Ive been down the same road and in awile none of that **** matters. even though it hurts toys come and go but family lasts forever. I just turned 29 today and spent the evening with my 2 kids cause my wife had to work, was one of the best birthdays ever.

Yea Ill be 26 in June, and married in July. I wouldnt change a thing if I had the chance. When asked "why are you getting ride of it the best thing I could come up with was, "im growing up". Its bad when Im wanting a 4-door family car because I see it being alot more practical for the future. Well atleast I can finish paying for my wedding now!
Happy birthday too! I cant wait in the next couple years to start a family, right now its her and I plus our 2 cats and dog. That being said, we're all in good health so I too couldnt be happier. |

Oh them rotten kids, you don't want them. They will take over your life and it will never be the same.
 i have the 2 girls and a boy and a almost step son and i have given up much for them but never the guns. Kids will change your life around for the better 9(or me anyways).

Yea im pretty excited about the whole "growing up" thing and having kids. Ive already lost my mini bike and favorite car for their future. Yes, **** those kids! She says the quad is next, I laughed and said nope it stays and I want a RZR next! But I have other things to take care of first, like wedding and home addition. Then well..... kids! So I pretty much just screwed myself out of a RZR right there lol, but the quad still stays.

Well you didnt need that forign car. Looking to sell my Ford Escort " Pimpscort."...295k Miles. You got money for guns. The marriage will take care of itself!Being a boilermaker, you make plenty of money. The toys will return.
