2012 Honda Foreman Winch Mount - Winch Mounts - HONDA - FOREMAN - 2012 Honda Foreman - 2012 Honda Foreman Winch Mount - KFI ATV Winch, Mounts and Accessories

Says it will fit a Warn RT25 and Superwinch LT3000, but WILL NOT fit the Superwinch Terra 35.

Warn RT25:
Dimensions: 13.12"L x 4.51"D x 4.69"H
Mounting Bolt Patterrn: 3.0" x 4.88"

Superwinch LT3000:
Dimensions: 13.2"L x 4.25"D x 4.25"H
Mounting Bolt Pattern: 3.0" x 4.87"

Superwinch Terra 35:
Dimensions: 13.4"L x 4.5"D x 4.8"H
Mounting Bolt Pattern: 3.0" x 4.87"

Can someone please explain to me why the terra 35 won't fit this mount? Surely the quarters arent so tight that 2/10ths of an inch extra length and height from the warn would keep this winch from fitting?

I emailed KFI about it as well.

I have no problem just picking up a lt3000. Biggest difference is it is just a single stage planetary gear box, which for an atv winch isn't going to make a great deal of difference for my uses.

I just put in a Smittybilt 3000 and there's more than 2/10's extra clearance around it with the kfi plate so I'd say good to go IMO.

For those of you who might be wondering, I got an e-mail response from KFI. They said:

How come this product will fit the Warn rt25 and the superwinch LT3000, but not the superwinch terra35? the three winches have the same mounting bolt pattern and are almost identical in size. Thanks."

Their response:

"The mounting bolt pattern have nothing to do with the issue. The Terra will mount to the mount. The issue is that the Terra body profile is too large and will interfere with the ATV Bumper tube structure. This is not the only mount the Terra has issues with. The Terra was just designed too large in profile."
