Took 3 2012 Foremans to okeechobee mudfest this past weekend...

All of them have 2in lift. two of them running 27 silverbacks and one with 28 vampires...

ALL three came back with broken axles... Just our luck

Any advice on what to replace them with?

Gorilla, Rhino, Turner, Highlifter....

Opinions please

Bet you would break less axles if you took out the High Lifter lift. They really make them bind. Jack up the front of your quad and try to turn the wheels by hand. It feels really rough.

sorry i cant help with the brand axle you should run but how did it break? were you hammer down in deep mud and catch a root or a rock ?

I broke my left front and replaced it with a rhino. Just cause of price. And they are alot bigger than stock.

Dang that's crazy to break all 3. Especially one with vampires. Y'all must ride em like you stole em lol

yes the big question is what were the circumstances that broke the axle?

i have been looking at gorilla axle's for the day mine break. my highlifter kit doesnt cause any binding with the axle.

fyi front axles on rincon and foreman are the same. (by our parts catalogue, by gorilla proly not so much lol)

We do ride them to the max (and beyond i guess). When everybody stops and questions a hole or crossing, were the firsts ones in... My axle broke while trying to pull a grizzly out of some pretty nasty stuff. Not exactly sure how the others broke cuz i wasnt riding them but they all did.

Warn winching techniques

Sounds like if someone was really stuck on there crapaha, winch and snatch blocks shoulda been used, instead of sacrificing the honda lol.
