Default What do y'all think???

Hey guys I'd like to know what you think about this. I want more ground clearance but don't want to lose that well known honda reliablity. I don't run the **** out of the bike nor do I go mud surfing. I basically use the bike for hunting, opening up new trails for hunting areas witch sometimes includes some deep water crossing and bush crushing.

After a bit of resarch and looking around on this forum and a few others this is the setup I came up with 27 or 28X10 swamp lites all 4 corners and a 2" lift and 1-1/2 inch wheel spacers all 4. Now my problem is that I've herd that adding a lift puts a good amount of stress on the cv joints and diff.
What's your expiarnce with thies type of mods? and how long did u have the bike u moded? +/- miles/hours you put on it. Thanx for your input!

go to my photo albums and look at my foreman. It has everthing you just listed and I havent had an issue with any of it. I do have 26in Swamplites though. I hunt and trail ride with it.
3 years with the tires, 1 1/2 years with lift and 6 months with the spacers

It adds some but not alot. There have been times where ive beat the p1ss out of it and nothing happened and I also do ALOT of work/hauling with it and it never skipped a beat.... Ive had my lift on for about 3 years.

Nice I'm glad to c that adding a lift is not as bad on the bike as some make it seem.

Does adding the lift void your warranty? And what is the biggest size tire you can put on without voiding your warranty

Tire size I dont believe matters. As far as the lift goes its up to the dealer.

2 of my good friends are sales and service mgrs at my dealer so I get new parts even if the old ones arent broke....till october

I have been thinking about getting Highlifter springs. Just won some money on the super bowl so what the H*ll. Should make it sit a little higher.

If your springs are not worn out. Save your money. I would do the spring spacers made out of hockey pucks for about 5 dollars total. Do a search on the forum to find all the info.
