they both are contactors and yes I do think that would work. One has the remote swtich and the other does not.

The second one is what you need, I wouldnt go with a wireless one personally because its kinda useless.

Boy I think I see your problem now. Let me see if I got this right, the contactor is in that box and you want to relocate it?

Sounds like everything should work after you get the contactor

You can use the box, Just remove it from the winch and install it in your air box, toolbox, etc.
I went with the airbox because it was very close to the airbox on my 04 Rubicon and I was able to use the short wires that connected it to the winch to connect it to my battery. and then use the 2 longer wires to go from it to the winch.
Im with Kipes tho, as the keychain remote sucks while plowing.
The only usefulness it had in my opinion was that if you ever broke down and had to walk you could use it to winch your bike up a tree for safe keeping!lol
I mean with a handle bar mounted switch all one would have to do is hotwire the bike and lower it down, but when you have the remote in your pocket they are SOL unless they have a few really tall guys with bigballs and a bolt cutter!lol
