Default Clutch adjustment screw seased up.

Whats involved in taking the front covers off , both my 07 and 08 wont move and I already tried everything except heat little hesitant on that. My 08 only got 200km on it and its froze lol. My 02 turns free as anything figure that one out . I know the dissimmilar metals is the problem . I thought I read somewhere there are some items that fall out once the cover comes off and you need to know how to put them back , something I shoud find out before attacking this I would think.

easy to do .put it in nutral and stand it up on its back rack , take off your skid plates ,undo your oil lines off your front cover . loosen up all the bolts that hold the cover on then lift the cover off (you may need to remove your inner fenders to pull the cover out ) there will be a triangle shaped bearing on top of the clutch that has to stay ligned up the way it is .and the piece that the triangle bearing mates too will have to be lined up when the cover goes back on

My adjustment screw was frozen too. I didn't tip it back and only one large washer and the clutch adjustment assembly come out. It was easy to see where things needed to go back. Adjusting the clutch was well worth the effort. I cleaned off the rust and put anti-seize on. The screw turns just the way it should now.
Good Luck.

Dont use heat, there is a rubber o-ring in there that will melt.
