You should be ok as long as you find a water hole every once in a while. hit it with a little bit of speed and it will wash all that mud out.

I havent had a problem with my rad, but like Green Demon said as long as you hit some water you'll be fine.

so the only reason to relocate it is to prevent it getting mud all over it and staying on it. i though people did it to keep the bikes cool down b/c it can not cool down under water.

Hondas have there rads sheltered really well... If you make sure ur rad is clean (i mean clean like new) you will last all day np. Its the Polaris that have the rad in the worst place that made ppl think outside the box... Yes you see them on many quads now but our one cylinders dont make the power or heat the V-twins do..

i ran with a poo poo 800 last summer and he had a radiator relocator kit and every 10 mins we had to eather stop for 15 mins for him to cool down or he had to go play in a stream for 10 mins to cool it down . i know that it was the polaris quality engneering for the overheating and that hondas cool very well . but if you keep the rad clean you should be good . BTW my 450s fan only came on 6 times , the poo poos never shut off all day (it was 95 degrees and we rode for 7hrs)

No, the complete opposite..... water will cool it faster than air.....hence "liquid cooled"
