Default Starter?

I have been trying to start my foreman but it makes a single click every time i hit the starter button. The noise is coming outta the Magnetic starter (next to the battery) Is there a way to fix it? is that the problem?

I had the same problem on an older rancher and it turned out to be the brushes.

take out the starter and try bench testing it (hook jumper cables to the starter positive to the pin and negitive to the starter case ) if it works good its not the starter ,if it dont work its the starter thats bad (starter brushes)

I called my atv shop and they said that you don't have to remove the starter to check it. just get a wire and connect it to the positive then connect to the starter and of u hear it work then its still good. i tried it and it does work. so does that mean its the magnetic starter? (next to the battery)
