c'mon man. Most of my tire threads are out of sheer boredom. The truth is that, before I sold cars I sold (drum roll please)......... TIRES! I know a little more than I let on. I sold everything from truck tires to ATV tires on a commissioned sales basis, and also installed every now and then so I could make even more $$ off of the sale. SO yeah, I admit, I get bored and discuss tires that I feel are good in their own way but receive little recognition. I also like to hear people's personal experiences. If you knew me in real life you would know that I like to talk. I recently moved and know noone where I live, so the internet is my outlet for communication. TSK, as of right now, given that 90% of my riding is on hardpack, gravel, or pavement, I am leaning towards 26" bighorn 2.0's on STI HD2 matte black wheels. |

yea i here you on the internet being your outlet, im layed up till march 8th with a dislocated elbow and although i love being home with my wife and daughter a man needs an escape and this is it for me..... that's a great choice of tire for what you ride on for sure, they were my second choice to the zilla's, but i ride 70 percent trail and some decent mud so that ruled out the bighorns.... i sure loved the originals with that white lettering though and the sti matte blacks are sweet as **** 2!!! looking forward to seeing those pics...

I test road 2011 Foremans one with and one without power steering. I thought it was a great benefit and a necessity. Mine rides smooth and straight on blacktop up to top speed of 50+ MPH. If you're getting shake and handlebar movement I suspect one of your front tires is toed in or possibly out causing the problem. Check your front end alignment. My riding has all been with stock Dunlops. About 6 different Honda ATV owners have ridden mine and all say the power steering is nice and wish they had it on theirs. Works especially good while plowing snow and in tight driveways. The 2011 Foreman is my 1st ATV and I'm a happy owner.

the only way power steering sucks is at high speeds for long periods of time corning is harder as faster speeds cause its soo much easier ..also easier to bring the back tires around but at low speed u can use your pinky to turn corners. white knuckle driving is over at lower speeds basically with power steering but i dont have a problem with not having it casue as long as your on the throttle its easy to turn the tires anyways

personally I dont mind my non eps rubicon with 26x10x12 swamplites on the front under any circumstances. if I were to buy a new one I would likely get a eps model just because at some time in the future if I were to sell it, then it would be better for resale. most people seem to want it nowadays.

i have a eps. and i ride my bike all the time on blacktop full bore. never had a problem with the steering.
when i bought my 2008 bike honda did have a recall on the power steering unit but it was replaced before i purchased it. other people have ridden my machine not ever having driven a power steering before and loved how easy it is to steer. especially when in four wheel drive.
