Well I finally decided to quit stocking and come say hey. I have been riding quads for as long as I could remember (im 22) all of which being Honda's. I started out with a 90cc that I rode the **** outta and finally out grew. In 03 I got a 350 rancher es 2x4 that I loved and put plenty of miles on. It was a goodin. My dad would always ride a 98 foreman my uncle had until in 05 him and his work partner went out and bought new Foreman 500's ES. Well in the mean time I out grew the rancher and wanted something bigger. I made the mistake of going with a brand new 06 Rancher AT cuz the automatic sounded nice. It was a noisy machine and the mileage on it sucked! 60/70 miles a tank. It kinda put a hault on how much riding I did in addition to being in college. Well in October of this past year, my Dad's buddy finally decided to sell his Foreman(due to the wifey). I had been wanting a Foreman for a while by then and was ready to jump on it. I quickly sold the Rancher AT for $3800 and got his Foreman for $3200(friend discount).
He never rode it much, only had 700 miles, but it had been neglected. It hadn't passed emmisions, the tires were crap, and some of the plastics were beat. So I changed the oil, cleaned the air filter, and a new spark plug and she passed. I put a winch and horn on it that I had for the rancher AT but never wanted to use (Always wanted to get rid of it). Since then Ive been doing a ton of riding and recently bought a QuadBoss drop basket off CL for $20. It was a steal. And currently enroute are a set of Kenda Executioners due here tomorrow!! Well anyway, I took my lady on a lengthy ride this past weekend. 116 miles round trip. And didnt even need to throw on the reserve, although I was close. I love my Foreman and I love riding in Arizona. And since we all love pictures.... ![]() By the way, what an awesome forum... I cant keep out of the archives to learn as much as possible about this beast of a machine. It looks like mine is due for another oil change, new gear oil, and I want to adjust the valves. The 3rd headlight mod is in the near future as well. Sorry about the rant. Kyle- Last edited by ASUAviator; 01-31-2012 at 04:04 PM. |

A few months back, I bought a 05 Foreman S in similar condition. The body on mine is flawless tho as it was only riden on country roads. I am glad to see I'm not the only one out there with a bright yellow Foreman. I haven't seen any others. I wonder if the yellow colored body was a bi rare or?????

Welcome dude, I also was riding an 06 500S before my Rincon. I really liked that bike. Was alot better for the peanut butter than the Rinny. BtW That water looks awesome ! A little cold, but awesome.

Thanks guys. Auburn I know what ya mean. The blue and yellow are rare and ive never seen any others. My dads work buddy was a Packers fan and had a big green G on both side. They came off immediately!!!
![]() The river in the picture is the Verde and is usually as the name infers... green. This stretch has alot of limestone around tho and turns it blue. |
