I have around 550 miles on mine and it has had 2 oil changes so I wouldn't worry. First mods to me would be winch and tires, but it all depends on where you ride. Good luck with your new quad.

I would change it once, run it a couple weeks and change it again then follow the regular cycles. I run mine hard, dragging stuff and use it every day so I change my oil often. Cheap insurance if you ask me.
